… But I really shouldn’t.
I’m counting the months till I’m out on the Field.
Counting the months until I can do the Work.
Counting the months till I see the World.
I’m counting the days till World Race Training Camp.
Counting the days until I meet my squad mates face to face.
Counting the days till I’m introduced to my team.
I’m counting the days till I’m done Fundraising.
Counting the days until I’m done with organizing events.
Counting the days till I can take a rest.
I’m counting the days… but I KNOW I shouldn’t.
God is counting the days for me. God has his own timing, his own process, and his own journey for me.
I need to stop counting, otherwise I’ll miss out on what He is trying to teach me along the way.
His timing is better than anything I could ever plan.
I was counting the days… with expectation.
I’m now counting the days… with knowledge.
Knowledge doesn’t have expectations, it simply knows the truth. And the truth is that God is going to lead me wherever He wants me to go. I simply have to follow.
“And now, O Lord, for what do I wait? My hope is in you.” – Psalm 39:7
