Well hi there!

My name is Laiken (which rhymes with bacon). I'm Canadian born and raised, and surprisingly don't say "eh" as much as you'd think I would. I am also not feeling 22, but it just happens to be the age that I turned this year. I will have turned 23 by the time the World Race launches in August.

Here's 5 fun facts about me:

1. I love animals, especially the family dog, Oscar..

              Isn't he the cutest? 

2. I love sports, specifically hockey and soccer.

3. I've been to only 1 other country besides the USA and Canada. Nicaragua in 2013!

4. Songs that have a minor note that fit so well in certain parts, are my weakness. 

5. I pretty much giggle/laugh all the time... either because everyone is that funny, or I'm feeling awkward to fill the silences.

I hope you enjoyed this little introductory of myself. I cannot wait to see what God will be doing on this journey, the World Race.
